Suzanne & Charlie
Tullyglass House Hotel, 29th December 2014
I love shooting the weddings of my friends, so when Suzanne and Charlie, one of my wife’s oldest friends, asked me to be their photographer, I jumped at the chance, especially since it was where we got married almost 3 years previous.
It was an extremely cold day, with the car temperature reading -7oC as we started our journey to Suzanne’s house. Luckily we had a very willing bridal party who, armed with blankets, coats and hot water bottles, were more than up to the challenge of standing around Galgorm Castle whilst I made the most of the clear skies and frosty ground! The bridal party were stunning and Suzanne never once complained of the cold, even though we were quite concerned about hypothermia kicking in towards the end!!
Suzanne and Charlie are surrounded by such a great bunch of family and friends and it wasn’t long before the champagne and shots were flowing and the dance floor was full!!
Thanks to everyone for making us so welcome, especially on the morning of the wedding where we felt like ‘one of the family’. Hope you are enjoying Thailand guys, it definitely beats January in Ireland!
