Irene & Sean

Riverdale Barn, 28th March 2015

 This was quite a special wedding for me to start off my 2015 weddings, firstly Irene was bridesmaid at my own wedding so I was honoured to be asked to be their photographer, and secondly my wife Katherine was stepping up to repay her bridesmaid duties for Irene.

Irene’s father had a couple of very important jobs to do on the day; not only did he walk his stunning daughter down the aisle but he also performed the beautiful marriage ceremony, in a lovely intimate church in Hillsbourgh.

After stocking up on some much needed tea and sandwiches we headed to a (very!) muddy field opposite the venue for some photos whilst the weather was on our side. Irene & Sean were a great couple to work with and, as you can see from the photos, they were pretty much up for anything!

Riverdale Barn was a beautiful venue and thankfully the rain that threatened all day held off until we were enjoying our wedding cake ( made by Irene’s mother ) and drinking some sherry ( Sean’s drink of choice )

A massive thank you to Irene and Sean for having me as their photographer, we had such a fantastic day and it was great to catch up with so many old friends !
